Ipad app downloaded but not showing up

Select Add to Home Screen and a blue checkmark will appear next to it. From now on, newly installed apps will show up on your Home screen. Any apps that were auto-hidden before you changed this setting will still be hidden. To unhide them, you can move them back from App Library individually. I happened to download an app and it got completely downloaded (yes, its showing “open” next to the app in AppStore) but somehow its not showing up on the Home screen.
