I downloaded the new drivers yesterday to my computer. When I went to uninstall my current "Nvidia drivers" on the add and remove programs, instead of doing that, I accidentally clicked on and uninstalled my "Nvidia Stereoscopic 3D Driver". Still without realising I did so, I went and installed the new Nvidia Drivers. I've tried different cables, different graphics card drivers, new Windows installs, not using the nvidia HDMI audio drivers, uninstalling nvidia experience, even a new GPU, lots of things. I think the cause was a latency problem of some kind. I downloaded a latency checker program and indeed, when the audio was crackling there was a latency spike. One other item.
