Recently started having a problem with downloads, they go on for a while, mega's then the speed drops to 0b/s and the download fails. Mostly tried fixing on chrome. I tried clearing cache, resetting browser, tried running command prompt as admin, then regedit, and do some tweaks there, nothing worked, my internet runs perfectly and I even. When I try to download the document in IE11 then nothing happens for 2 minutes, then it saves a 0 byte file. Similarly if I try to open the document in word the Connecting screen shows for 2 minutes, then it opens an empty document. So it seems something is timing out after 2 minutes before it fails and just returns nothing. To do that in Microsoft Edge, do the following: Open Microsoft Edge. Click the Hub icon in the top right corner and then click the Download icon on the right. Alternatively, you can use Ctrl + J keyboard shortcut to quickly open the Downloads panel. Locate the problematic download, right-click it, and choose Download unsafe file from the menu.

I've encountered a very odd issue while trying to download Dragon Age: Inquisition. Namely, Origin correctly downloaded the first 96% perfectly but breaks horribly after that. What happened is that the download speed gradually slowed from about 4 mb to 0 bytes a second and it stays and nothing or n. Google Chrome won't download files.. the download starts of normally.. it downloads a few megabytes and then just drops to 0 B/s.. i ended up downloading the file though my smartphone over Wifi soI don't think the new router is the problem or maybe it could be a wired-only issue.
